Assistant Coach
Nick Tranbarger
Training with Nick isn’t just about finish lines. It’s about becoming a more resilient, intentional, and fulfilled version of yourself—both in sport and in life.
NICK TRANBARGER’S path to endurance coaching is rooted in education, leadership, and a lifelong pursuit of growth. While studying at IUPUI in Indianapolis, Nick discovered endurance sport through cycling for fitness—an entry point that quickly evolved into a passion for competing and coaching at the highest levels. After college, he spent several years as an educator and school administrator, focused on developing young people holistically. That same commitment now defines his coaching philosophy and the way he invests in athletes and their families.
As a husband, father, and professional, Nick understands firsthand how demanding it can be to balance training with real life. His approach centers on building strong relationships and integrating training into the physical, mental, and spiritual dimensions of life. For Nick, performance matters—but purpose, sustainability, and personal growth matter more.
As an athlete, Nick has competed across cycling, running, and triathlon at both local and national levels. He has represented Team USA in Sprint and Long Course World Championships and raced among the world’s best at the Ironman 70.3 World Championships. As a coach, he has guided athletes at every stage of their journey—from first races to world championship qualification and professional-level competition. While the results speak for themselves, Nick measures success by the transformation he sees in the people he coaches.
Training with Nick isn’t just about finish lines. It’s about becoming a more resilient, intentional, and fulfilled version of yourself—both in sport and in life.
